This is great news! I didn't even know about HD Theater. Luckily I have it with DirecTV! Channel 281..MPEG4! I watched one of their wildlife shows and it was absolutely stunning.

Is WRC actually shown in HD though, or upscaled like F1?

GREAT NEWS!

Should be HD. Discovery Communications wants to emphasize HD programming quality over 'other' channels. cool smile

The honchos at SLOW should hang their heads in shame. One of the coolest motorsports series in the world carried by someone else because SLOW can't figure out how to sell enough advertising to justify real racing series.

I used to love SLOW but anymore seldom bother with it unless F1 or MotoGP is on.

Way to continue to drop the ball, morons.

with the amount of hours that they give nascar with practice , qualifying , 2nd showings
of practice and qualifying they could easily show the entire WRC weekend which would be a couple of hours long , then maybe then people will watch it and be interested . but most
americans won't watch unless there is a patriot in the series .

Too bad I won't get to see it along with all the other racing that is going to that channel. For one, I don't even have an HDTV, which to me is somewhat overrated as I do not need to see every blemish on folks.
