Dale Jr.who won close to half of his carrer wins in plate races ,and Mikey Waltrip who only won in plate races on a DEI team that specialized in plate racing .

Right. Wait, what is your point?
I do not consider plate racing real racing when the cars are HP restricted to keep them all in packs . Great drivers like Mark Martin ,and Rusty Wallace have never won plate races ,and like me they hate plate racing because plate racing is more about avoiding the big wreck then it is about driving skills .

I figured you were going there. Have you ever driven in a pack of 43 cars, 2-3 wide, inches apart at 180+mph? Let me know when you do, and I'll give your opinion more credibility.

I do not like races where the leader gets pushed into the wall, and is lucky not to be killed because his car is HP restricted ,and it can not pull away from the 2nd place car . The 2 plate races were like that this year ,and I do not think that is good racing , and if Carl Edwards are Kyle Busch were injured are killed maybe NASCAR might finally do something about it .
