Sorry to those who have lost their track... but in reality it has been a long time since I had seen what could possibly been called a 'good race' there.

The racing there is so hit-or-miss, and it's been miss the last 3 years. I can't really explain it. The drivers look more relaxed and timid.

I attended my very first Indy Car race at The Milwaukee Mile. It was the Rex Mays Classic back in 1956. I witnessed every USAC race held at The Milwaukee Mile, Indy Cars and stock cars, until USAC ceased those operations.

I don't know what some people are talking about, but, it is still the greatest track to see auto racing.

It would be really cool if the Nationwide race went to Road America and the Truck Race went to Madison.

Heh, I think you might be overestimating the size of the facilities at Madison. I love that little track though.

Adding Road America to the circuit would be absolutely awesome though. I wonder if that could be more than just a pipe dream.

The truck series is rumored to go to alot more short tracks next year to save money. Madison would be a perfect fit. The trucks ran at mansfield for many years which is shorter than madison. Madison also has enough pit stalls for all of the teams. I went to all the USAR Pro cup series races there and it would be a great fit for the trucks

Congratulations, those are the two most ignorant posts I've read in a long time...maybe ever.

While it is always sad to see a track go away, one that doesn't have great racing very often is a bit easier to take. What is ignorant about that?
