It's no secret to me... SHR is a Hendrick operation. The item in question however is only a tool tray...

You're so ... loud!

Advantage? I think it's obvious ... double reverse suck-back front spindles. The ridiculously expensive unobtanium versions of course.

Tony's success this year is definitely related to his partnership with Hendrick. e.g. He wouldn't be the points leader if SHR were running with RCR equipment.

Not suggesting that TS isn't a great driver, he is, but this year he Is running the best equipment (Hendrick)

As an Edwards fan I Wish Hendrick sucked, as a Smoke fan you should be overjoyed that they don't. tongue wink

Haas CNC always had the best equipment. The reason why SHR is doing so well this year is because of Tony. He was the only reason why they were able to get great people to come over. The equipment and the sharing of information was always there for Haas.

It's everything.

Someone having the idea to give Tony 1/2 a team (RH maybe)

Tony and Ryan - Good, winning drivers.

Tony being able to attract higher paying sponsors to get better people.

Hendrick shipping/allowing/encouraging knowledgable Hendrick people with tons of experience with HM cars like Grubb to go over and work there.

Tony's organizational skills and experience running winning race teams.

I can also imagine it became a deal where SHR was getting all new equipment, tech notes, and such and not just what Hendrick wanted to let them know or have. I imagine HaasCNC wasn't necassarily getting the best, just good, stuff.

The point is, it's a perfect combination of everything. There is very few, if any, other people who could've put this together this good, this quick!

Hats off to Tony!

Nicely put... For anybody to think that haas cnc was getting what Tony is getting is crazy.
Tony being TONY helped make the whole thing come together as well as Chevrolet's desire to get Tony back...
You put a good driver in Hendrick equipment and he will run up front... You put one as good as Tony and he can win championships...

Quote from D. Grubb, " To say we are a Hendrick team is unfair. We are a SOLID, STAND ALONE race team." Roush sells the roof flaps for ALL THE CARS ON THE TRACK, so, according to that, are they all Roush/Fenway "partners"? NOT EVEN CLOSE.Smoke is the best!

You seem to think that Hendrick support played no part in Tony's success so far. And that makes no sense at all. I think Tony's ability to recognize talent (Bobby Hutchens, Darian Grubb) and his ability to put this team together were the major factor's. But Hendrick support certainly played a part. It must suck to have your driver supported by an organization you hate so much.
