Another silly season driver merry go round story:
http://formula-one.speedtv.com/article/f1-2010-talks-on-with-several-teams-heidfeld/
http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news/detail/090702110027.shtml
Heidfeld wants to stay at BMW for 2010 but keeping his options open if BMW go with Nico instead.
Kubica hasn't been a happy camper ever since they aborted his push to challenge for the WDC last yr when he led the WDC at one point and was still in the top 3 contenders late into the season and the team halted car development having achieved their season's goal of getting a win under their belt. I could see BMW letting Kubica go and keeping an "all German" lineup.

Based on some other rumors flying around...
Renault, Fred rumored to be goning to Ferrari, and Piquet just not cutting it...
Brawn..Rubens may retire..
Williams for 1 year, then to RBR if Vettel goes Ferrari in 2010..
Toyota...if they lay out the $$$, although they may still be smarting from the Ralf paycheck scam...
These teams can bring a "competitive" package to the grid, Kubica can argue my driving puts you over the top....

if BMW go with Nico instead
...but would Nico go with BMW is the question? They abort a potential driver's championship, and failed horribly with a half season head start on 2009 development. But at least they're blue like his Williams livery. His best bet may be Renault if Piquet gets the boot. He was rumored to have interested Mclaren which Martin W. denied aggressively, so Nico is fishing... but in reality I wouldn't be surprised if he sits in a Williams 1 more year.

McLaren would be wise to look at Kubica.

They sure would, but I thought they were also interested in Nicco.

BMW have finally discovered the weakest link in their system. Forget Nico, forget Kubica, forget Heidfeld... next year, their driver lineup will consist of ALBERT II and ALBERT III.
The ultimate driver; never does silly political interviews, is able to do 987587962 autographs per PR session, and is able to simultaneously drive and "analyse the data".

Its been reported on Sky Italia today that Nico Rosberg has agreed to join BMW for 2010.
Was also said that Ferrari are planning to offer Kimi money to get out of his current contract. Kimi's managers were seen talking to people at Brawn this morning.
