Dangit if NASCAR had just predicted this shower accurately to the minute and started qualifying six minutes earlier this wouldn't have happened! Thanks a lot NASCAR

Great job by Kertus Davis and the 04 team!! Good to see Kertus is in the show, that was a great lap, I hope they can dry the track and get the last 2 cars out there because Kertus was in the top 15 if its rained out he will start towards the back. Did anyone else see how happy he was when he got out of the car and he started break dancing "thought he was in the nite club", not only that he mentioned how he missed his "cher bear" at home LOL Way to go Kertus lets get a top 10 tonite.

Weather update – 4:00 PM EDT: Radar shows the rain moving away from Daytona. NASCAR intends to try and finish Nationwide qualifying with the remaining 2 cars. Track drying has to be completed and the fate of Sprint Cup qualifying is TBD

According to NASCAR.com , nationwide quallies will resume at 6pm eastren. This is great news. Kertus would have to had start P43 instead of 16th!
