There was a lot of debris out there ... bound to blow a tire ... esp they had been out there for a long time ...

I agree. I was surprised NASCAR didn't throw the red flag instead of having them run through the debris field

Its guys like Richardson that prove the worth of a second tier series to filter out those who may endanger the stars of the sport. What I don't understand is why a Cup car owner would risk their cash cow by letting their driver play in the minor league game the day before a pro game.
