<snip>... I think Dave Despain owes us an apology for exhorting us to 'watch, or blame only ourselves if it goes away.'
You should do what I do.
Never bother watching Windtunnel and credit yourself when it goes away.

How much you guys want to bet he spoils the results of the AMA races on Wind Tunnel before they've aired?? I never watch that show but for anyone who does, let us know if he does.

The Colin interview was actually pretty entertaining - by far the best of the mc racer spots I've seen on Wind Tunnel. Most of the time I just fast-forward through to the Eye Candy segment.

I have no idea how long it takes to prepare a broadcast for SDD airing,
I doesn`t take anytime to prepare an SDD. It can be time shifted, just like many programs are, from 5 minutes and up.

So if there's no real post-production delay, then there's no logistical problem with east coast folks being able to watch the AMA/DMG races before midnight.
I would suspect there are contractual reasons why Wrecked is showing during that time slot, but those contracts were probably all signed, sealed, and delivered months ago while AMA/DMG was procrastinating about putting the season's TV package in place.

Exactly. So once again we can thank Roger Edmondson.

I'm even willing to give ol' Rog a partial pass because of the whole economy thing, but I suspect there were some other, easier, more fundamental decisions badly made.

the details and exact post escape me but if true the present mess would rest squarely on boss hoggs shoulders

The old regime bought the air time, sold ads, and by all reports lost money. Edmondson said they won't be losing money on the TV deal. Looking at the time slots I am inclined to believe him.

thinkin a smart businessman if revamping a series formula from superbike to a nascraperized rolling start, pace car basic superstock series would know that you would have to spend money to get it in front of his target nascar audience and that package supposedly on the table would have been the way to do it.
Then to have the gall to say the DMG primetime crap was a ratings improvement and successfull and then a short 4 months later revert to the sdd format continues to prove he is still the bull in a china shop
