is it me or is the racing more about judging the weather , pit stops , running out of gas and who crashes who over good door to door battles of old days racing ? seems to me that 8 out of 10 races is either someone getting crashed on the last lap , weather or running out of gas.. anyone else see it that way ?

Here in Indy I see LOTS of tix to the 400 offered for sale on craigslist at or BELOW face value, so scalping isn't a profitable venture any longer.

NASCAR today has alot of rainshortened events. Maybe NASCAR should start the races earlier like at the Daytona 500. It was dark by the halfway point. Back in 2004 the race ended in broad daylight. If the race started earlier the fans would have seen 200 laps of racing.

I sorry, I'm not from the south, or have a mullet, and I think there is other forms of racing, so my opinion is way out in space and will never be heard by people who have a brain! F Nascar!

Agreed. It was racing back when the winner could win by a lap or more...

This is just me, i enjoy all forms of racing. 2 wheels, 4 wheels or whatever. Just start the Sunday races at 1:00 in whatever time zone they're in (minus World 600). Saturday races start at 7:00 whatever time zone they're in.

From the first automobile race until today there have been and always will be fuel stragety races. The only way to prevent this is to eliminate refueling stops. Of course then it will be fuel economy races.
