In '88 while Speedvision was still very new they televised the SCCA sanctioned Corvette Challenge races. I didn't see the races back in the day - we didn't have cable TV. Has anyone ever seen video available anywhere? I'd really like to see it. I found this little clip so I know it must be out there somewhere:

I was just thinking about this wreck the other night, when someone asked why they throw a red flag on short tracks when a tire gets loose.

That's the same short clip I had in my first post. That's the only thing I've ever seen from this series. I'm sure Speedvision still has the races in their archives. Maybe they can re-run them or sell DVD's of them.
