Entry list for Lime Rock is up and p1 and p2 car counts are up. Add in the porsche comming at midohio and the rest year maybe pretty good after all. Does anyone know if the challenge class will be at MidOhio?

P1 isn't up and P2 is only up by one (and thats a multiple year old car with no updates or testing).

If you would look at the Mid-Ohio event schedule you'd see the Challenge class will be there.

I was checking the entry list again and I see what you are saying. Still the pt count is up to 9 now and 10 and midohio. This is considerably better then the 6 at st. pete and 7 at long beach when all the doom and gloom was going around. Also with the gt challenge class at midohio that will be more gt's then were in last weeks rolex race and a total car count close to that of rolex.

Yeah, things are looking better.....Except for Miller's "Grand Am is buying ALMS" rumor.

Hold on now, Huge always has something silly to say.

That Porsche will be pedaled by Pickett (how did he become a Gentlemen Driver, when he's been a Pro for a long time???)

and Klaus Graf I believe who has ties to Porsche. Sasha Massen will join them for Petit and it has factory support. Like the class has moved on since 2008 anyway. The Acura entered 2009 largely UNCHANGED and the Lola largely unsorted for 2009 since most of its data is for European Tracks.

While Huge is a supporter of the ALMS, he also supports Grand Sham which I don't. If the ALMS goes away, he'll just buy a Telmex t-shirt and still be happy.

I will turn off Speed and close that chapter in American Racing History, I refuse to watch a inferior product.

It makes me so happy to know that you know what I think and do - though you haven't a clue.

Please, after all these years will you grow up and become an adult?

DJ tends to think he knows what everyone likes, and more importantly in his mind, what everyone should like.

Grand Sham eh? Original. Hmm. Haven't heard that one before. Wow. How incredibly creative.

Grand-Am is not the ALMS. It never was and never was intended to be. However, the racing is very, very good if you are not completely closed minded.

that is a great point track fan, one that most people even myself sometimes forgets.Rolex was never meant to be the same. Both are great and both have their place.I know it is hard for alms fans to accept rolex but it can be done, I am a example. The midohio race this year was great, I hope the alms race will be also.
