First, you will need a lot of beer!
Put the body on a Ramcharger frame.

About 25 yrs ago, my drinking buddies and myself
put a Nova body on a Bronco 4X4 frame. It took
about 9 months, countless barrels of beer and many,
many all-nighters. When it was finished, we had to
"test" it to get a reconstruction title. We finally
got it titled, inspected and road worthy. We took it to
old strip mines and beat the crap out of it, breaking
it, and repairing it, numerous times, finally just letting
it there.
My point is, it can be done, but you will be putting
a lot of work, time, blood and cuss words into it, so
be prepared. And make sure you have lots of friends
around to help.

My only question is....WHY???

If it's only an exercise because it's never been done, more power to ya! If it's only because you need to get back in the woods with the guys, save the hassle, headache, fabrication, parts scrounging, etc. and use the $$$ you would have spent on this to buy yourself a $1000 POS, beat-up, full-size Blazer or Bronco. Parts are a lot easier to come by, and cheaper to boot.

Sometimes building something no one else may have tried can be entertaining and fun, especially when it's done. Like putting a snowmobile engine in a golf cart, complete with 13" mag wheels (fenders were cut out) on the back and wheelie bars (and no brakes). Maybe not the most practical way to transport a set of golf clubs, but it sure puts a smile on your face (and those watching) when you hit the throttle and have to hang on. And when you get older you can say "yea, we built one of those, and we had a blast!) tongue laugh
