what if irl ran raod package at texas

Would the racing be better. I'm sure the speed's would be down.But would the racing be better for everybody.

No. Mostly because all the cars would be driving around on the rev limiter. Secondly, those big wings create so much dirty air that no one could close up and pass.

Remember when Champ Car did Vegas? It didn't make for better racing.

No. Mostly because all the cars would be driving around on the rev limiter. Secondly, those big wings create so much dirty air that no one could close up and pass.
I think it would be more like NASCAR at Talladega. The cars have so much mechanical grip that they don't need downforce to corner. Then everyone's stuck going three wide in an unbreakable pack.

The cars ran around 214, so with a road package my guess it would barely touch 200.

I was at indy,when they ran the pro series.that was great racing. what if the irl ran the pro series cars.it would cheaper to run,plus you would have a full field.anything has to be better than what iv'e seen latley
