I wonder how long GM will be producing Saturns for RP? It's kinda strange to think it may be Renault producing them in the future.

GM will produce Saturns for 2 years, in that time I'm sure Penske will find other manufacturing plants. I don't see Saturn simply being a rebadged Renault or Skoda etc. Manufacturing will be outsource of course, he's not interested in owning automotive plants, what I see would be Saturn sharing some compoients with a co-manufacturer, but yet being its own models. The concept of car companies having to be vertical is past it time. The market will dictate some 'standards' to be developed. Look at the software world, XML etc, no goverement body dictated this, various developers came up with their own standard. Its not so far fetched to see yamaha engine in say a BMW platform with climate controls by Delphi etc and stability control by Bosch. Why re-invent the wheel (or 4 wheels for that matter)
