And the rules... note the addition of the rule allowing one late pick during the year.
1. I will divide the ICS field into four groups, ordered (from best to worst) A, B, C, and D (and E and F for Indianapolis only). These groups will be determined by a combination of points, subjective observations, questionable analysis, shaky conclusions, and random guessing. They may (and will) change throughout the season as drivers do, but I will not attempt to separate oval and road course performance and groups.
2. Everyone who wants to play must select one driver per group per race (well, you don't have to do every race, or every group for that matter, but both are highly recommended!). The only restriction is that you cannot choose the same driver for two consecutive races. This applies even if I switch the groups around and you end up quite restricted in one group.
3. Points are quite simple: your points are the same as the combined ICS points for all four of your drivers. Highest at the end of the season wins... something
4. Picks are due when qualifying starts. However, each competitor may, once during the season, submit their picks late (any time before the start of the pace laps). This will be tracked and reported here.
5. Rules are subject to change without notice!
And finally, the super-special bonus round, for the Indy 500 only...

Here's how it goes...
-Most importantly, this round is completely optional. You do not have to participate!
-You may choose as many or as few entries as you like, including those that have not yet appeared on the entry list.
-You will score 10 bonus points for each of your selected entries that DOES do at least one lap during any session (or attempts to and crashes, etc), but DOES NOT qualify in the field of 33 for the 500.
-If any of your entries DO NOT do any laps during the entire month, or DO qualify for the field of 33, you will lose 10 points for each of these entries.
As usual, you have until Saturday morning to make your picks... make sure, as always, to check the official pool website at http://students.cec.wustl.edu/~bpd1/ICSPool.html to find your picks from the last race, and all the other info you need. Finally, good luck everyone, and let's hope for an interesting May!
