For the life of me, I can't find any pictures of the current Dallara cockpit and the steering wheel layout. Does anyone know where to find these pics.

Thanks in advance.

Steering wheels are custom made to the specifications addressed by the driver and what the teams decide to place on the controls.

Thanks guys. I realize that each wheel is a little different. What I am trying to do is craft a mod for my steering setup I use on my simulator. I had found a nice picture of an Indy Lights wheel, and of course several versions of F1 wheels, but not one of the current Dallara wheel with paddle shifters.

Thanks again.

There was a picture of carpenter showing a group of kids his wheel a month or so ago...... but it didn't really show the face...... the bottom pick isn't a paddle wheel.... I don't know that I have seen a picture of one? Seems there might have been a video at Indy last year of Manning showing someone his wheel and the paddle shifters etc.?

Thank you smuff, already found that one. It is an Indy Lights wheel, which may very well be close, I'm not sure. Although this last weekend on the telecast Jon was showing Wheldon's wheel. I'll have a look at the broadcast in the next couple of days.

Seeing that picture makes me giggle a little, the sway bar levers are the reason.

They were interviewing one of Mario's (THE Mario) engineers one time, I don't remember which one, and he said that he explained to Mario about the operation of the levers (I hope this isn't inappropriate), "Think of it this way, when you push it in, it gets hard, when you pull it out, it gets soft."
