SPEED Boards IndyCar Pool: St. Petersburg Results!

EDIT: Results can be found on the third page.

Hello, one and all, and welcome to the first official running of the SPEED Boards IndyCar Pool for 2009! I promise it'll be a lot of fun-the 11 people that tried my "pilot" for Surfer's Paradise thought so-and that it'll be a nice way for all the members of this board to come together in friendly competition.

For those who haven't seen them already, here are the rules:

1. I will divide the ICS field into four groups, ordered (from best to worst) A, B, C, and D. These groups will be determined by a combination of points, subjective observations, questionable analysis, shaky conclusions, and random guessing. They may (and will) change throughout the season as drivers do, but I will not attempt to separate oval and road course performance and groups.

2. Everyone who wants to play must select one driver per group per race (well, you don't have to do every race, or every group for that matter, but both are highly recommended!). The only restriction is that you cannot choose the same driver for two consecutive races. This applies even if I switch the groups around and you end up quite restricted in one group. This does not apply in regards to Surfer's Paradise and the first race of 2009.

3. Points are quite simple: your points are the same as the combined ICS points for all four of your drivers. Highest at the end of the season wins... something.

4. Picks are due when qualifying starts. This goes for Indy too. Also note that, for Indy, there will likely be a Group E consisting of any Indy-only entries.

5. Rules are subject to change without notice!

And here are the aforementioned groups. NOTE: There has been a lot of speculation about possible new entries, the identity of the "TBA" drivers, etc. Any of these may cause changes to these groups. If you want to pick now and change your mind later, that's fine. If there are any changes, I will update this topic and attempt to PM anyone whose picks may be affected. But for now...

v3.1 Tagliani confirmed
Group A
Briscoe, Dixon, Franchitti, Kanaan, Power
Group B
Andretti, Doornbos, Mutoh, Patrick, Wheldon
Group C
Hunter-Reay, Meira, Rahal, Tagliani, Viso, Wilson
Group D
Barrett, Carpenter, Conway, Manning, Matos, Moraes

And now we come to the most exciting factor: the prize. Err... well, actually there isn't one. I'm open to suggestions, though. One thing other contests have done is a signature bet: the winner can dictate a line (not insulting, vulgar, etc.) that the losers must place in their signatures for a given period of time. I'd like some comments on that, as well as any other suggestions (that do not involve me spending significant amounts of money!)

I'd appreciate any questions, comments, suggestions, etc. All of this information, as well as an example of what happened for the Surfer's race, can be found at the official pool website at http://students.cec.wustl.edu/~bpd1/ICSPool.html (note: I am a complete newbie at HTML, so please go easy on me!)
Otherwise, picks are welcome! Although I can understand if some want to hold off until people are a little more sure about the entry list...

Whoops-for some reason I had it in my head that someone other then Tags would be in at Conquest. Sorry, Earl, but I've moved him up, so you're going to have to make some changes...
