Hey racing buddies. We learned somethings this
very special day! But I still have some questions for Rich or the Speed Network?
Rich let us know he reads every e-mail and watches every race. A good boss always watches out for his best interest. So here is some questions for you all? How did you decide on the 11 sec. class was it high 11's or mid 11's or low 11's or was it all 11's? If so why wasn't all that was in this class chosen? We also wonder why you don't show times on the clock for the final 16- they could be running a faster car than what they run during trials?
We were there all day on Saturday. We had reserved seats. Before the show we watched the camera crew around the cars we saw the cars that were in line we listened to some that were being interviewed? Was amazed at how each person was just delighted to race. There was lots of cars lined up at 8:00 in the morning WOW! We heard the drivers meeting! But What Does It Mean When You Are Told Not To Get Out Of line for nothing to race your car ALL OUT! We understand that antifreeze is not safe for the track because of it being slick but it is March and probably 50 percent of the cars that were running had antifreeze in them. The first Driver was a pick from you all for a feature car. When this person was on the line he didn't have a clue this was going to happen? Did this driver have to apologize to you for a reason? the only thing I thought you had to apologize for was for something you know you did wrong?
What about the tech people don't they check the car and see if it is safe for the track? My understanding each one of those cars went through a check station? I think you should go to the pit areas and take your little tester
and check for antifreeze? Why would your tech people Rich sign off on a card stating it was ready for your show? This person received 2 years not to race in any of your 3 so called shows? Then Rich you announced to the cars in the staging lanes not to get out of line to drain the antifreeze out of your cars wait until after you make your pass. And as always be sure to run it ALL OUT! Now I believe the second drive was 18 and getting into drag racing. Aren't these the ones you want they
want to put on a good show? This person was
in the middle of all these cars in this class so your advice worked he stayed in line and run it all out. I understand the media was not this guy's cup of tea he just wanted to race? So his car does a burn out and is ready he goes and low and behold when he gets almost to the 1/8 mile his car blows black smoke rows and of coarse one of your announcer announced it had antifreeze on the track how much we don't know it wasn't to long we were watching again. Of course Drama came they announced you Rich came and you were mad? So you banned him for life! So the young driver has a blowed up
car! And you Banned Him For Life History was made for Pinks All Out was what the announcer said interesting! when he did as you asked to stay in line and run All OUT! So humiliating someone infront of thousands of people gave you what? If you truely want to promote this sport make up rules before they come from different States to be in your show! These guys take lots of pride in there cars they spend lots of time making sure they are safe and that their cars are ready for each race.
Why would anybody pay you to be humiliated on TV? We are proud you bought a house in Dallas? I don't know what that has to do with Pinks All OUT But the speed network does! I would suggest that you put some of your people in the stands as spectators because we heard lots of negative things. Like You announced
that you didn't like what was on TV but you said things that dictated that you prefer being like a soap opera Or you Want to BE GOD! Theirs only one God and for me and my household that is the only God we will serve!
Joshua 24:15 People was saying this is nothing but a circus! I heard this is just TV drama! Rich can you explain how we all thought this was good entertainment for us and our family's because I understand you have a wife is she proud of you acting like this? I know the money is good.So how do you feel about your self? We always liked speed network but Pinks Stinks! Or maybe just you Rich Stink!

Rigged show - Rich knew what he was gonna pick before a single car ran down the track... I saw the kid get banned - bad deal all around. I have been to 2 pinks all outs and will never enter another one.

BTW - How far into the 10's could that Camaro run?

I read somewhere that it was like a 10.6 car.

this is what I experienced from pinks all out that I did not like at all.

Friday is horrible..it was just horrible in St.Louis, the day after my b-day. June 28th. It was hot, it was just muggy all day long. Before we went to St.Louis, we ran into some rain, that will come into the story later on.

It was clear Friday morning and ill be damned, our name ends with a W so we're the last 50 cars of the 500 cars there and had to probably wait, what, 2 to 3 hours, I think more before we went into inspection. Low and behold...we find out all they do...they don't look at nothing hardly, didn't even check the cage (just got the car cert to 8.50), check the belts, nothing. didn't check under the car, trunk area, under the hood, nothing...how can something like that take so long and yet look so simple?

and then after all that...finally...you run one freakin pass and then, it's nothing all day, just a few little features, blah blah blah, day over. All that time for 1 pass in 100 degree weather. Now im a full blooded drag racer but com'on, people said that Gateway track has been open past midnight all the time yet they closed the track down after all passes were made and we had trouble (because of the rain) we had problaby water somewhere it should of not been, we did this and that, took everything off from value covers, dist. cap, cleaned everything, good to go. only this is we had to wait till the next freaking day to find out about it we were good to go or not. it was popping down the track a little bit and I just let off and made sure nothing was wrong

then Saturday finally came and it was ok but it was not still as great as it was as you see it on TV (if anyone remembers the st.louis episode, its where they rush right through the cars and screw the hell outta everything). You see some people go to every all out event and I don't see how they do. It's cool with oldschool drag racing but with all the BS it looks like, especially when it looks all awesome on TV, it was boring to me. The Car ran a 11.30 (we have the wrong set of gears, it will go 10 seconds easy with 5.13 but probably on the brink of cracking the 10s with 4.86, 331 SBC)

Armdrop live looks fair. Its headsup racing now and they pick 3 classes of 32 and pay those classes but really, I need feedback because if you have to hotlap in a 32 field, that is just HARDCORE on your car but when we went last year to KCIR, it was dial in and it was a helluva better than pinks all out, considering you could make 4 to 5 passes on TNT day (friday) and make 1 or 2 before the real deal begins.

I am not sure what happened with Pinks. WE used to watch it all the time. Well My husband watched it and I went along for the ride. Now he just passes it up when it is in the list. HE liked it a lot and then he got tired of it I guess. I guess you can only watch someone go down a track in a straight line so many times and loose their cars before it becomes boring.

I have never thought drag racing took as much skill as it did money and luck. Every time you go you race the light. There is so much luck involved that I do not like it. Now when you go long distance, that takes skill. Sure if you have enough money you have less break downs.

But if you both start off knowing how many seconds your car can go, then it is just who is lucky enough to get off the line first, and who has the money to make their car not break.

Yes there is some skill involved in getting off the line fast. But it is 50% skill 50% luck and 100% weather your car will break or not. Give me a track with some miles and some turns, and we will see who wins.. Sure you need a car that will not break there either, but then it becomes.. 80% skill 20% luck and 100% car not breaking. LOL.

I disagree with about everything you said.

Nascar is very boring.

Your So called "80%" skilled Nascar driver could NEVER sit in a Pro Stock drag car, and be competitive.

Looks like the only thing that stinks is people who dump anti-freeze down the whole track and won't get out of the groove. They were told no coolant, but must not have cared. Close race for the win. I still enjoy All-out, Not perfect but I'll take it. Glad they changed the rules to eliminate sandbaggers more.

In the racers meeting there was no mention of coolant. they
cut and pasted to make there show. A big soap opra!! But we
were glad to see how things would be run on the show. And amuart i hope you race next time. Also what is it about no
napa toolbox given away? So I still say pinks Stinks!

Look at new topic, "we want our money back". Racers don't know what is going on during the race. No checks and balances.
