Fisha695 - you must work for SPEED and be assigned to say nice things about them. The channel used to be all about racing and now is all about a bunch of crap and NASCAR. Thank god they still show Sebring, Le Mans and F1!!! That's all that's left of what the channel used to be.

Last time I checked since Day 1 SPEED/Speedvision has always been an automotive culture channel, not a racing channel.

Also people complain about Wrecked because it features semis, and they have no relation to racing.... What do you think carries the race cars from track to track? Semis.

GRanted, Speed is an automotive channel, but it's tne nature of their automotive programming that has some of us about ready to tear the paint off the walland Wrecks is part of the problem we have. There is nothing that speaks to the automotive culture in seeing a bunch of two truckes, flatbeds, or whatever cleaning up an accident site. There strikes me as being too much of the accident-scene-gawker in it.


To include Wrecks on Speed's schedule only takes away from the quality of Speed's programming and, more to the point, detracts from identifying Speed as ab automotive programing network.

I remember seeing what I called " Moat Boats" From NZ they would run 800HP jet boats through a series of very narrow canals...Fricken cool! I remember seeing LIVE AMA races or same day delayed coverage of any and all motorcycle racing...Where were you? This new format SUCKS and if you cant see that then your part of the problem!!

It seems that most of the Sports Channels try not to schedule programming that conflicts with the major sporting events.

For example during the NCAA Division Championships, Speed ran Pinks reruns.

It seems that they try to take the lowest common denominator sports fan into account and don't want people put in the position of having to choose between live significant sporting events.

Now that racing is in full swing across all of the major US sanctioning bodies (or soon to be); we should see more good stuff and less bad stuff on speed.

Here's a question, who remembers watching a young(er) Lewis Hamilton on Future Stars on Speedvision (back then) in the late 90s?

I really would like to see a show like that again.

JagBro...If they bring in a show that is based on that subject of Lawyers...I will cancel the extra $30.00 it costs me for the upgrade to get speed and I would hope alot of other people would too. Right now the USA is a laughing stock of the entire world. Our once great AMA series that has brought World level talent to the World Stage (Eddie Lawson, Watne Rainey, Kenny Roberts, Wes Cooley, Colin Edwards, Randy Mamola and most recently Ben Spies) Come on...Not everyone in the USA wants to grow up to drive NASCAR. Some of us still like the much more demanding discipline of Road Racing!!

I too am a fan of the Speed GT and touring car racing. Let me tell you that your show was not put off because of AMA racing. It is because Speed is sleeping with NASCAR and trying to convert us all into mindless, nonthinking Idiots who only care to go aroubnd in circles...nothing could be more boring to watch...except maybe watching paint dry...or watching that dumba** Goldberg on that
intelligence sapping show Bullrun!! Trust me my friend we Motorcycle fans are just as upset as you are about our coverage

Well the fact also remains that we do not get ANY LIVE AMA coverage this year at all so far as I can see. Keith, the both of us are getting screwed and accordign to some of the posts here...it will only get worse....kind of like the National Deficit!! I wish us all good luck in finding good coverage of ANY Racing event here on Speed...unless your a Redneck who thinks racing is only about going in circles and saying "Boggety boggety" all the time! WTF does that even mean??? got boogers in your nose??
