Why is "Pimp My Ride" coming to Speed? Just, give me a competent reason (not just a good one) as to why this joke of a car show is coming to SPEED TV? Why can't we have more build shows like "Gears?" You know, how about a show that builds a budget SCCA, NASA, or even, oh, I don't know EMRA racer or even an autocross car? You can even cover how each does licensing so you can get on track wheel to wheel! Why have a stupid, recycled, worthless show like "Pimp My Ride?" It's like no one listens anymore, be it Speed, auto companies (all of them), some big racing series, or even our government.

It just drives me crazy because it just seems like we, the public, don't really have a voice anymore over anything. We are fed spoonfuls of BS and are expected to accept it. I'm tired of it and have reached the point of where I want to take that spoon, grab it, and shove it into the back of the throat of the person who is feeding me the BS. I have never felt this conflicted and angry before in my life. Sure I've gotten pissed off before, but, this is different. Nobody is listening to us, but it's time to take a megaphone to the ears of these people and either make them listen or make them go deaf.

I agree. Just when I thought the programming on Speed couldn't get any worse, I see an ad for Pimp My Ride. I wonder how many times per week they will show this one.

I would complain about this move but it makes no difference and I end up spanked by the Mods. All the crap they show gives me more time to live my life not glued to SpeedTV like I used to be.

I will add that the bling-bling/ look-at-me culture spend a lot of money to prove how individual they are, so blame people with that mentality.

I couldn't agree with the above more. Oh well I DVR the racing that comes on at 2 am and never ever watch otherwise.

I find myself watching more ITV and Eurosport then Speed. And that is sad because it is a lot of work getting that stuff.

You know, if we hit them where it hurts, complaining to their advertisers and threatening "boycots" of their products for supporting shows like this, then maybe that would be the "megaphone to the ear" I spoke of.

how about some love for Alan DeCadenas and his show featuring the real historics, and driving them on at a really nice location. screw this stuff like pimp my ride, pass time, pinks and all those others.

whats messed up is Eurosport shows more race then SPEED does!?!?!?!?!?!? Eurosports even has time to show OTHER SPORTS OMG!
