INDYCAR: Will Power Joins Penske Racing

As SPEEDtv.com's Robin Miller first broke on Monday, Will Power is the new driver at Penske Racing, replacing the embattled Helio Castroveves.

As much as I respect Helio as a racer and realize his popularity with the casual fan is a benefit to the series, I think Penske made the right decision to move on. Not so sure about Power being the right fit though... he seemed to struggle on ovals. I was hoping Sam Hornish Jr would return (where he belongs).

An all Australian team in AOW on one of America's most famous teams - strange but I guess that's the way the world is now. Good for Will Power and he'll give a very good fight to Dario, TK, and Dixon. If Penske does have a 3rd car they better hire Wilson

Isn't Indy Car the ultimate American Melting Pot? They may not all be citizens but their certainly more ethnically diverse than NASCAR.
