cool smile One more driver on the Walker Racing Website they are still listing and talking about getting back into the Indy Car Series This could be Paul Tracy's in and by my count that would give somewhere around a 22 - 24 car starting field Maybe 40 drivers at Indy is not so far fetched

Penske should put Paul Tracy in the seat.

Haha remember last time? That would be a show for sure.

Too bad for Helio. I always liked him and thought he was a good driver. I hope the charges are false and he'll get back to racing.

What a cryin' shame for the IRL to lose a well recognized name and face like Helio. He has charisma and makes the races and championship more interesting. If he is innocent, then this is a great injustice because his career has been dealt a potentially fatal blow. If he is guilty, well... However, it is hard to blame Penske. He needs to be certain of having a competive driver in his car.

I would love to see Bourdais racing in the IRL against all the guys we never got to see him race against. However, I wonder if he would be on his game. Cristiano da Matta never seemed to get back to the same level, albeit he was with a lesser team than N/H/L. And to have Tracy back to race him would be good, but I think we might all be dreaming. Gerry Forsyth cheated us out of that.

dg46000, that is a smart thought. Seabass in a Penske ride would be very tough to beat.

A lot of fans like Tracey, but you have to admit he didn't exactly endear himself to all of the teams he drove for, for example Penske, Newman-Haas, Team Green (or at least the Barry Green half). LOL!

I hope its true about Doornbos. A ton of talent, but he had bad off-season luck, you can say. He was my favourite when he was racing in the CCWS

I don't want to see Bourdais back here already. I've got nothing against him, but I REALLY wanna see if the speculation is right. Its believed that the 2009 F1 cars have about the same kind of power-to-grip ratio as a Champ Car, which Bourdais has proven exceptionally capable of handling. Speculation is that he could be a brilliant driver with the new F1 cars, and I think he needs a season to see if that's true before he jumps back across the ocean. But "Bad Bobby D" as Graham Rahal's teammate? I can get behind that.
