Bruno this is the best F1 has to offer you? A maybe C level team? Stay in GP2 capture a title than move on,not that capturing a title means anything, see Giorgio Pantano. But the Senna name has to go on in F1. Senna and Mclaren perhaps? Happy Holidays all

Getting closer to the A1GP model. Team Mexico. Force India. Team Ferrari Italy. Team Toyota Japan. Team Mercedes Germany. It won't be long.

Any purchase of Honda F1 is a great step for Bruno in order to spring board up into F1, remember his Uncle started with Toleman and then Lotus before proving to the F1 world that he was the up and coming driver to employ on a team. Dennis grabbed him.....

....and the rest is in our history books! Honda now fills the role as Toleman did for his Uncle as he needs to get into F1 and be groomed properly before the McClaren or Ferrari drive will arrive.

i hope this is a rumour! Carlos Slim is about as serious as a team owner as Spyker/Midland/Super Aguri/etc.
Altho, I want to see Ross Brawns car for '09, I'd rather it be a Prodrive, powered by Honda. Senna over Button 2!
Also it's spelled Mclaren.

With the purchase of Honda F1 by Carlos Slim, will this team (if it becomes official) pave way for a US driver?
Something that BAR Honda did not do.

Why Bruno, isn't he 28 or so? I guess there would be sponser money for the nephew? I don't get Bruno as a f1 driver choice...can someone shed some light on this?

For the length of time Bruno Senna has raced he certainly deserves the seat. Besides the sponsor moneyt he brings he was the fastest of all the Honda Testers in Spain in November. Good Luck to the new team and Bruno!!

Telmex and Slim deny that there have any negotiations or talks concerning buying Honda F1. This news was in my local newspaper today and on the Telmex website.
