Suzuki has had no problems with winning races whether Honda is around or not

Also having Nascar people in charge of ama road racing now certainly didn't encourage Honda to stay around. I would not be surprised if Yamaha, Suzuki, or Kawasaki pull out.

a smokescreen for the rules set down by edmunson. only confirmed player so far is yamaha. sad day for motorsports. DMG think they can run bikes like they do nascar. remove edmunson, remove the problem

Im sure it wasnt the global economy alone. It didnt help, but a combination between that and DMG scared Honda away. I dont blame them. DMG scares the #### out of me too!

Ever since American Honda took over, the team has struggled. Remember when Duhammel and Mladin were going head-to-head. prior? They are being soundly beaten by Suzuki, Yamaha and Ducati in AMA, WSBK and MotoGP. Why keep going back for more embarrasment?

This last line - "rest assured that Honda¹s deep-seated passion for racing has not been, and will never be, diminished." - is a total cop-out for the millions of fans, supporters, of Honda over the years.

Will we be back when they are?

Suzuki has already pulled out. They were first. Now Honda. Kawasaki is probably not far behind them all. Not sure about Yamaha. Word has it Honda used the economy as a nice way to back out and not lose face until DMG comes to their senses.

Once DMG comes to their senses and lets racers race the sponsors will return. Look what they have done to NASCAR. IT IS DYING FAST and their teams and sponsors are also having big problems. Pretty soon they will cancel motorcycle races because of rain like NASCAR.
