Oh, brother. Now people are asking that Tony George give a handout to Kevin Kalkhoven's team? Now I've heard it all. I thought KK was the hander-outer, not the one with his hand out. What happened to his billions? Oh, wait. Don't answer that.

For all I know and care, Danica can do whatever she feels like doing..Ugh! Wouldn't it be fun to have, Tony Stewart, Hornish, J. Wilson, Rahal, PAUL TRACY, Dixon, Dario, Montoya, Helio, Kanaan, Servia, Robby Gordon, Hunter-Reay, Briscoe, A. J. Allmendinger, Matos, Sheckter, Will Power, Tagliani, Junqueira, Scott Speed, Sebastian Bourdais, and Meira (I am sure I left a few out of this list) go at it driving the Panoz DP-01 with, at least, 800 Horsepower (Hoo Hooo)??????? Leeeet's get ready to rumbleeeeeeeeeee!!! It is soooooo nice to dream...
As for the "new" F1 "Pepe LePew" cars...well...Uuhhh...they should race those things at night WITH NO LIGHTS!

A minor complaint: when you discussed versatile drivers from the era of real racing you omitted Peter Revson. Wins in F1, Indy car, Trans-Am and Can-Am as well as an Indy pole certainly attest to his versatility.

Nice dream. I'd pay to see Danica stomp after Tony Stewart or Robby Gordon.

if danica went to nascar she would be back sooner then dario. of course the princess didnt see A1GP as a favor, even though it would have been the best thing for her career. i hope marco sees it differently and improves his road course game.

Great car builders and owners, you missed ROLLA VOLLSTEDT. Hear is a list of some of his drivers: Johnny Rutherford, Gordon Johncock, Janet Guthrie,Lloyd Ruby, Mario Andretti, Cale Yarborough, Bobby Unser, Georgr Follmer. Jimmy Clark, Dick Simon.

I have to agree with you in that Mario is the best all around racer, with AJ very close behind. But Mark Donahue won in whatever his butt sat in. Today, there's no doubt that Jeff, Tony and Jimmie would not make fools of themselves in anything with wheels

funny how most drivers mentioned as the best started on the dirt. Watching the outlaw race at the 1/2 mi highbank track @ lebanon valley NY is my favorite race of the yr. and I was at Bristol and richmond and The indy 500.
