Im surprised noone has signed him yet. Unless he has offers and is just waiting to sign the right one?? He's the best "available" driver out there imo (and that includes guys who are only signed for 09').. I think Gibbs should sign him up myself.. Heck, they need a 4th cup driver sooner or later anyway, if their gonna keep pace with RCR, Roush, HMI, etc..

i am not a big fan of his but he has stepped up to the plate this year. arguably after david ragan he is the most improved driver this year.

What's left? Non-top 35 teams. However, he has proven he can get a car in the show. You just might see him end up at HOF. Bad news for him is that organization is a sinking ship.

Moody is reporting that the 41 is between Riggs and AJ. Riggs is favored because he's bringing his own sponsorship and of course AJ because of his performance.

I hope AJ gets the 41 ride because then he'll finally make his first Daytona 500. Plus I think he'd do great.

BTW now check how he's done in the last 5 races of the year with the 10 team:

Carl Edwards 905
Jimmie Johnson 806
Kevin Harvick 737
Denny Hamlin 716
Jamie McMurray 705
Clint Bowyer 688
Jeff Gordon 683
Greg Biffle 675
Matt Kenseth 666
Kyle Busch 634
David Ragan 621
Dale Earnhardt, Jr. 603
Casey Mears 595
A.J. Allmendinger 569
Martin Truex, Jr. 562
Tony Stewart 552
Jeff Burton 526
Travis Kvapil 513
David Reutimann 505
Kasey Kahne 493
Kurt Busch 459
Ryan Newman 449
Bill Elliott 437
Juan Pablo Montoya 427
Dave Blaney 413
Paul Menard 407
Scott Riggs 397
Michael Waltrip 383
Robby Gordon 368
Scott Speed 366
Bobby Labonte 353
Mark Martin 345
Elliott Sadler 338
Regan Smith 326
David Gilliland 326
Marcos Ambrose 322
Sam Hornish, Jr. 310
Brian Vickers 298
Reed Sorenson 296
Ken Schrader 292

Tony Raines 189
Chad McCumbee 189
