I know not many here are into MC dragracing, but the mechanical-porn aspect alone is worth a look.
Suzuki had dominated the ProStockMotorcycle class for decades in NHRA competition, using the old GS 1100 as a base. The class became a stale and tired Suzuki-fest 'til NHRA politics permitted H-D a clean-sheet billet engine that now dominates (along with the billet S&S;/GBR "Buell").
Recent rules relaxation will see the above 'Busa-based (bore-centers, at least) engine in NHRA competition next year. It's a joint effort of Don Scumacher Racing, Suzuki and McLaren Engineering. Displacing 1625cc, it's an all-billet, 4-valve I-4.

Just another example of NHRA politics. They also are allowing V&H;a 4-valve head for their "Harley" Twin, as they're at such a disadvantage now...

That's a potent looking motor. What are the displacement, power, torque and rpm specs on it?
