How is adding flyaway races in the Middle East going to save F1 any money? I guess the teams will have to relocate their headquarters to Qatar or Bahrain. F1 is changing from a "World Championship" to an "Asian Championship" no one cares about.

F1 fan glenn, you're surprised to discover that Bernie lacks class? Hah! He's a cutthroat business man pushing to make every Euro he can, while he can. Bernie's job is to put on the show. He's not concerned about making chump change from attendance. That's the local organizer's problem. Bernie's paid to bring the circus to town; he doesn't care if anybody comes to see it. If Asian governments pay his fee to buy a race, it's fine with him. He has no loyalty to legendary tracks or a historical fan base that come to watch. It's all about the money. You gotta pay to play in Bernie's sandbox. F1's not going down just because there are a bunch of races in the Middle and Far East. You watch don't you?
