“It is totally untrue to suggest that our organization has defaulted on payments owed for the past three years,” Wilson charged. Wilson doesn't claim that the money has been payed, only that they haven't defaulted. There's a difference!

Why would you want to be apart of something (F1) that questions/tarnish your integrity? It can't be because of money, Ecclestone doesn't want the tracks to make money from the GP's. So for sure they aren't getting any.

Very unprofessional of Bernie and the basis for a lawsuit no doubt. Between FOTA and the Canadian GP association, I think Bernie will pay for this indiscretion.

Bernie may well have money owed him from the recent Canadian GPs, but I'm not impressed with the way he's handled it. Cancelling the GP without telling the organizers lacks a lot of class. No doubt there's a lot going on behind the scenes, but it doesn't look good on the surface.

Why would anybody be surprised that Bernie would put profit over absolutely everything else? Clearly greed is the single ruling factor in Bernie's life and it is stamped on his repulsive face in deep lines. His demise will be widely heralded!

Sounds like things we heard from bankers who got too greedy and then had the whole sub-prime lending blow up in their face. Bernie's attitude is that one late payment means he can dump the Canadian GP and get a middle east government to pay him more.

I know that Bernie is supposed to market F1 to maximize profits for the benefit of all the F1 players -- including the teams. But, Bernie seems to have reduced F1 to short-term income, not long-term profit maximization.
