Lewis is the best driver out there, he needs to relax and let things come too him.

While Hamilton is a talented driver, he makes a lot of un-forced mistakes. He cost himself and the top five qualifiers the race win by another bone-head late brake job. He doesn't yet understand that you can't win the race on the first turn but you can surely lose it.

He seems to choke this time of year when the championship is in sight. He gave it away twice last year and could lose again this year if he doesn't get his act together. He needs to start driving with his head not over it. Penis powered F1 drivers who can't get a grip on reality lose their ride as Sato did.

I am absolutely dazzled by the lack of comments from the F1 media about the pathetic start from Hamilton and the consequently disastrous move he did trying to go inside Kimi Raikkonen almost causing a multi-car crash. More absurd is his unchallenged explanation stating that he was overtaking Raikkonen and his car just went open a bit. Instead, the focus is on Felipe Massa's incidents - one of them being coincidentally with the English media darling Mr. Hamilton. I am condoning Massa since he clearly did cause Hamilton to spin forcing the issue under a lost situation. But I am seriously questioning the rudeness and the complete bias of the F1 media. It is about time for the press to quit being so openly biased. Yes, we all understand the frustration of 12 years without an English World Champion driving for an English team, but enough with the conspiracy theories already. Hamilton is a talented (and there is no question about his talent at all) brat that has been christened by the English media as the new incarnation of Jim Clark. He even had the guts to say he is as good as Ayrton Senna. Amazing to see that no one from the media challenged this absurdity. Hamilton has not achieved the level of a Jacques Villeneuve yet. He is as smart mouthed, self-assured and cocky as Villeneuve, but with no Championship on his resume to back his attitude. There is a long list of drivers like him, including Eddie Irvine.
Yes, Formula 1 needs to gain excitement in some way since most of the races have been pretty boring. But for crying out loud, Hamilton makes as many mistakes as other drivers in F1, so give him the same treatment and hit him hard like you do with other drivers too. And for the ones that do not want to see; it was clear during the Qualifying press interview that Hamilton was too nervous. His face and expression could not give it away more easily. Yes, Hamilton choked.

RACING IS RACING, LEWIS IS GOOD, HE SAW A CHANCE AND TOOK IT, IF IT WAS ANYONE ELSE THEY WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING. ITS TIME FOR PEOPLE JUST TO SHUT UP AND DRIVE THE CAR

Lewis is an idiot. He nearly ran his own team mate into the wall on the start, dive bombed the first corner, caused all the carnage behind him, and once again looks poised to throw away a championship all by himself. He has raw talent, just no brain.

I believe Hamilton has a lot of talent but his attitude is the same as Marco Andretti (I believe they feel that they can do no wrong). I believe that Hamilton will lose the championship this year like he did last year due to stupid driving mistakes.

The pressure of competition is at it's highest now and LH must remain more focused and cautious as never before. The haters are all around him and will take him out at every chance they get both on or off the track...

while it is clear that LH is the media darling, it is equally clear that Ferrari is the darling of F1. They seem to get away with everything and never seem to be penalized for commiting infractions that have seen other drivers punished. Especially LH.

LEWIS, you were smoking the tires from the pit end limit line all the way into the corner. This was not a "chance"[Motomechanic!], it was a Playstation move. You don't get to restart when you overcook the first corner. There are consequences. Several drivers paid the price for your ambition. I agree with Beentherebaby and Eliyah. You both hit a lot of nails on the head. LEWIS! You are an amazing driver! Please grow up, join the real world and don't throw your talent away! Maturity also means accepting responsibility for your mistakes, not downplaying or justifying them.

PPD, I guess you missed Massa's drive-thru penalty. Another example of blind fans who claim to watch races.

Lewis clearly blew the start of the race, however it is now even more painlfully clear that Lewis is the target of the wrath of the FIA. Fuji: lewis penalized for forcing Raikkonen wide (no contact) Spa: Raikkonen runs Lewis off, Lewis penalized.
