My daughter's favorite car is the Mazda 3 and she is considering buying one next spring. I hope she likes the new one or she might be buying used. I like it because it looks more sophisticated than the previous model and you've got to love direct injection.

I am a 3 owner. I expect to replace my 3 with another 3...probably a speed 3. I love my car. The new styling looks good from what I can see.

My daughter's Mazda3 is four years old, with 50,000 miles.'04, and I'm pushing 108,000 miles. I did a two day track day at the Glen last year w/ 75,000mi on the OEM suspension...it was a blast...then I ran over a deer the next week that (thankfully) someone else hit...the thing is indestructible (car ...not deer..).
Great car. It's basically been abused by teenagers its whole life. Not a glitch.
(in fact I had it on track at the Glen last weekend...just driving to my flag station loaded with coolers and camping crap, so I took it easy...)

I'm just a lil disappointed in the hatch. looks like the WRX and Matrix. Other than performance, Mazda are known for being different. A MAzdaSpeed 3-door would be nice too.
