zoot, could it be that we, as racers, know that we are responsible for our own accomplishments and failures on the track?

God you are hilarious! Is your back sore? LOL

So I guess Hayden just learned to ride 3 races ago? Or could there be another factor?

Some things are better left unsaid, even if you believe them to be 100% true.Puig is the loser in this scenario. He has gained nothing from the interview while reinforcing his status as a total prick. He could take some lessons on humility from Hayden who simply told reporters,If your waiting on me to start acting like the dumped girlfriend, you are going to be disappointed. It has been an honor to ride for Honda and i want to thank them for everything they have done for me and my career.Thats how a class act does it.I have a feeling it wont be that cordial when Honda runs that ####### and his meal ticket off after they finish 5th next year in the championship.

Slightly off topic.

What does LTD stand for

Back on Topic.

Puig is a D**K
Also James Toseland said that in Mugello Colin Edwards let him copy his setup for Qualifying as all the free practice sessions has been wet. So there is still something to be said for teamwork

Puig is a low class tool pee pee's performance dropped off when Hayden ceased doing development work on this years honda when it was apparrent he was changing teams. I remember earlier in the season when pee pee was complaining that Hayden was not setting up the bikes to his liking. Pedrosa will never win a title without having the best bike on the best tires and he will whine and cry about it.

All I can say is Puig stated that Nicky was able to improve his riding because of the data he was stealing from Pedro, and that Nicky has no idea how to set up a bike.

My only comment to this would be I wouldn't call Nicky's performance in the beginning of this season as an improvement. So whatever he might have "learned" from Pedro's data was obviously useless. If Nicky didn't know how to set up a bike then how did he win a world championship wihout Pedro's help?

Zoot and LJB you may not find the article inflamatory but the way I read it is Puig is defending Dani and talking trash about Hayden so Dani doesn't have to get his hands dirty. I think they know he is not well liked and if he came out saying things about other riders it would make his situation worse.

You know what's hilarious? Rolfo's complete silence.

Normally he'd be on a Hayden- or Pedrosa-bashing thread like a mosca on merda, but since bashing one would imply support for the other, he's like Buridan's ass.

It seems Puig's little outburst was a response to an interview Nicky had done a day earlier. He doesnt say anything bad about Honda but does kind of throw Puig in the grease.Nicky knows the Japanese and fired a tactical shot across the bow to wake them up.They will go out of their way now to make sure everyone knows who is in control.I would say Alberto just slid a few rungs down the ladder.

Hayden felt that the team wasn't functioning as a team, with each side of the garage functioning independently and not sharing data to help develop the bike. "I don't like the fact that there's a wall separating the garages and that we're not sharing information," he told El Pais. "We're both on the same team, and we should be working together."

The problem, Hayden said, was not Pedrosa, but his manager. "[Alberto] Puig has too much influence on the team. In theory, he works for Dani, not Honda, but ..." he told El Pais. When asked how much credit Pedrosa still has with Honda, Hayden replied "Dani is great rider, with a lot of talent. But Puig is the guy with all the power at Honda, not Dani. Unfortunately, it's Puig who runs Honda. I know I'm not supposed to say so, but that's the truth."
