Man, we've really seen how much Micheal Waltrip and Jeff Hammond are Nascar Sellouts as they all talk about how Nascar did the right thing! Did anyone see Mikey on This Week in Nascar? It was ridiculous! He said something to the effect of Nascar made the call, it shouldn't be argued.
The media should be all over this one, but the fact is they are all scared to say anything bad about Nascar! I can't say I blame the media members as their job is what puts food on the table, I blame Nascar for running an organization where no criticism is allowed. Look at the NFL whenever they have a blown call. The media blows that up everywhere. But here Nascar made the most ridiculous call I have ever seen in major motor sports to benefit one of the big names and the media isn't getting on this one nearly enough.
Just when I thought the sanctioning body may have been getting better, they go and do something ridiculuous like this. Could you imagine if it would of been Jeff Gordon that they gave the win too? With the love the Talledega fans have for Gordon, it would have caused a riot! What's so bad is it was such a great race ruined by a blown call.

If big Bill France knew that someone drew a foul line around his tracks he would turn over in his grave. When he drew his finsh line he wanted people to see a race acrossed the line not some hopscotch rule to declear the winner of the race. Who wants to watch a race to find out at the end that your mind plays tricks on you. Or just nascar is play with there race fans heads.
