Question About Attending 12 Hours of Sebring

My son and I are thinking about going to the 12 Hours of Sebring this coming year. We've been to 7 F1 Grand Prixes, several IRL races, and the Rolex 24. So, we are not novices.

My question goes more to the best ticket package. We will be there all four days. So, our choice is the four day Superticket - $100 each --OR-- the Pit Box (which is as I understand it basically a Superticket with covered seating)for $200 each --OR-- the Club Sebring for $500 each. Have any of you gone the Club Sebring route? Is it worth it? Please do tell.

Think of it this way-F1 is a corporate desk job, Sebring is a frat party.
If you do anything other than camp/spectate in the infield you've missed the point if not the race.

Get the superticket, and walk the track. You'll see a lot more, different corners, different angles, and a lot of "different" people smile

I think the best value is the Pit Box. It's great to be able to get out of the hot sun or the drenching rain if necessary and just chill. The pit boxes over look pit in and out and it's a great view. Club Sebring is nice too. You MUST walk the entire track though to get the full experience.

Went to my first 12 hours last year. I camped in turn 10 Wednesday to Sunday. Check out http://www.sebringfans.com. Its a forum for fans of the race. Everything you want to know although it is geared more to those who stay at the track.
