How is your car part of your lifestyle?

My current A4 B5 is the best car I've ever owned for my lifestyle as a consultant and being single. With legendary quattro and all the toys it's the best car I've ever owned (bye bye VW's). So, how does your car fit in your lifestyle and why?

'Developed, not tuned'..... 1995 Civic DX Hatchback. It accentuates an underdog lifestyle. Bringing down the big dogs. Awesome adjustability. It's like smacking a Bose stereo owner in the face with a better system at a fraction of the cost. A NA engine sound that breaks sluggish American roadway 'conformity' in half.

I suppose that few cars are presumed to reflect a "lifestyle" as much as a Corvette. All I can say after over 35 years of owning quite a few is this: I wouldn't be without one. They continue to get better and better (well, there were a few lean years in the mid-70's that I would just as soon forget) and my current 2007 convertible is a genuine world-class performer. I've met some terrific people through the local and national Corvette Clubs and spent some great hours on various speedways during "track days". Nothing like a quick, effortless sprint up to 174 on the heads-up display with plenty left, and driving the same car back and forth to work every decent day. As we like to say, you don't see too many Corvettes in front of Psychiatrist's offices. 4-wheel therapy rules!

^You don't know Fyreline very well, do ya? hmmm

Not sure how my Mustang fits my "lifestyle." I'm not a hockey mom or soccer mom or however you want to stereotype women in their minivans. lol

I was never a huge fan of Mustangs before I owned mine. And those that know me know the story of how my car was meant for me. grin

I will be just condescending enough to let that go. Thanks for YOUR contribution.

(taps chin thoughtfully)

I. Have. No. Idea... At the age of 50, these post-modern pop-psychology catch phrases tend to confuse me.

Tough question...

Is a lifestyle defined by what we do for a living?
Is a lifestyle defined by how much money we make?
Is a lifestyle defined by our hobbies/what we use your vehicle for?

I can see a outdoorsman/hunter/camper type having a big, tough, practical trucky thing. Salary may define the make/model, but a truck is a truck, and it fits that lifestyle.

I don’t understand what being a single consultant has to do with an A4. I’m not making the connection between the two. Sorry.

Well, I suppose, as a sports-car-loving empty-nester (almost) my little two-seater fits my "lifestyle". Whatever that is...
