Everything is just shy of a day in advance because, you know, it's in Australia.
MotoGP FP1 is in 5 hours for all of those with access to such things...

Where's the spoiler? I want to know who wins?
My money is on the grumpy Aussie kid over the goofy looking Italian guy this week - he's overdue.

if the grumpy Aussie kid's wrist is a problem on high speed transitions, i think he may have issues at PI...
BTW, did anyone read the West article on the Speed page?
good god he is whiny...

the part where he said the team lied to him? if they lied to him, then he's got a legit beef.
i know you race, but i suspect it's not your life either.

Good god you're hard to please. What do you expect him to say? Yes, he is too open. Do I believe everything he said? No. I'm not saying he is lying it's just one of those things. I don't think he's done bad on the bike. I think it will take a talent several steps higher to make a real difference on that Kawasaki.
From his own writings, I don't think West is the most focused racers but to an extent Kawasaki is to blame. They probably got him very cheap. They praise Hacking right in front of him and in interviews on the .com site, when asked about West they always start "Well...(you get what you pay for)".
As far as the race I expect to see many Yamaha's in the top 5. If it is dry I could see Toseland on the box (unless Michelins are screwed). I'd like to say Nicky, who I think will do well but fade mid race. It's also time for those overrated 250 riders to step up. Again if it's dry I could see CV 5-6th.
