Heard this rumor. Ike coming into indy in pm at race time. They will not race in conditions like Friday. Race may be moved up - not sure to when or even how to know other than to check the MGP site? I will be pissed if they hold the race at 10am and I'm not there and no one ever notified anyone!!!

If they're thinking of changing the race times, they sure as hell didn't announce anything about it at the track today.

I hope the track is willing to change the race times because if they do not their might not be a race most of the riders said they will not race if it rains as hard as it did friday afternoon.

They can't change the times due to television commitments as far as I know.

The rumer came from the tv guys on Eurosport they probably could tape the races and put them on at the schduled time.Everbody involved should work together so this does not turn into a dissaster like the F1 race at Indy a few years ago.

The Tech 3 Yamaha press release (as quoted on Superbikeplanet.com) included this statement, without further elaboration or citing a source:

"Race bosses will constantly monitor weather forecasts tomorrow, with the possibility of the race being run earlier than the scheduled 3pm slot to avoid the most severe weather."

Don't know if that's a source of the rumor, a response to the rumor, or what. Take it for what it's worth.

If the time is changed someone should tell Motogpdot com, they still have the standard schedule and the morning warm-ups are going as usual.

Im looking forward to this race at Indy, but I am really scared for the saftey of the riders, It is flooding here in Illinois and all of this is hitting Indianapolis. I will be watching though. Good lucky Nicky, go get that home win!!!!!! cheese
