It looks like the same riders that complained about Lagona Seca in 2005 are complaining about Indy this year. In a story in Cycle News online Cappirossi and Melandrie think the track is unsafe and in photos at Moto Gp.com they are seen talking to MotoGp officials and argueing with Nicky Hayden.

Every rider so far thinks the track may be unsafe in the rain, although all said they must see from the bike, and most, Rossi and Edwards included think there are unsafe spots in the dry. Turns 1 and 5 were both mentioned.

i know almost nothing of this track but i think and i hope Pedro can win this one . He is the most adaptable rider i seen and he really learns faster then everybody else . bike is good ....... and he seemed to go fast enough with the Bridgestones this early on so ........Pedro will win tongue wink in America

I predict Dean Adams is gonna get so excited he's gonna crap his pants at least twice over this race this weekend.

I think the track would have been ok in the dry since they tightened it up since the test in july and are adding air fence where needed. The weather this weekend is just crazy I feel sorry for every body their the racers the fans the officials just bad luck i hope it works out and all the riders are safe.

Sitting here watching the live timing on FP1 --- Spies is on top at the moment on an obviously wet track.

West just went to the top, Stoner is second. Rossi is 4 seconds back for now.

40 minutes left in this session.

Things are jumping around so much the track must be drying.

I'd have to give Vermuelen a shot at a win if it stays wet. I'll be pulling for Hayden but with everything going on we'll see.
