Of this year's Chase drivers, who will miss being in the Top Ten in final 2008 Sprint Cup Points?

The 07 and ... the 17 or the 20. I'll guess the 20 because I think it's going to be harder and harder for that team to stay focused as the season wears on.

As an aside (since I don't know who to pick at this point), I think they should have all 12 at the stupid Awards banquet if they're going to have 12 in the Chase. But when has Nascar ever made sense..?

Easy bet: No driver in the Top 10 will be driving a Dodge . . . because there isn't a single Dodge in the Chase. Any wonder why Newman ran to a different manufacturer?

Seeing as I started this thread, I'll throw out my picks...

16 and 07.

Biff's lack of consistency has kept him out of Chase contention for all but one year prior, and when it resurfaces he'll drop through the standings like a bad habit.

Bowyer has proven for the past couple months that 07 in '07 was some kind of numeroligal fluke, and '08 just isn't going to be as kind to Clint.

It's 11 p.m. on Monday. How exactly did you manage to post at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning? wink

Jeff Burton and Clint Bowyer. They both started the season really well, Burton with his streak of top 15s and Bowyer starting off where he ended 2007. But Burton only had his first top 10 in 6 races this past weekend and still hasn't had a top five in 12 races while Bowyer has sunk, sunk, SUNK.

At least Harvick has looked good lately, the other two RCR teams don't have a chance.

Biffle and Kenseth are honorable mentions, Biffle is kinda inconsistent but is capable of coming out with good runs and leading laps while Kenseth's struggles still usually land him in the top 10 so at least he has consistency.
