I guess you would call this “payback.”

Like i said in my post about Dale Junior, there's a right way to get even,if you can do it. Well,Junior did it today. How you like it,Kyle????? smirk And i noticed in the interview Junior knew exactly what to say. I also saw that when they interviewed Kyle he wasn't so huffy and throwing smart remarks at the other drivers like he usually does. I guess they had already warned him before the interview. You could tell he really wanted to turn loose but just couldn't say what he really was thinking. Yeah,a little "payback" will make you think..... ohh

I really doubt Dale meant that as a payback...

Browneyes jr. did not try to take out kyle busch. IF you look at the replay jr. Slammed on his brakes trying to keep off of kyle. You must have been watching a different race then most of us on this board. Because i guarantee you that most will say it was an accident. No body warned kyle what not to say. He was upset that he did not have a chance to go for the win. He was not upset about the good hard racing between he and jr. Busch came back to finish like 15th, oh well nothing lost today. Kyle Busch was only going for a win today.

I sure hope not. I have always though Jr to be a man of his word and NOT a lair. If he did wreck Kyle as payback I would think he would be man enough to say it. Juan Pablo did and that is in part why he's my favorite driver. I like Jr, and can't stand a lair, so I hope and believe Jr was truthful in what he said.

Wasn't payback, but what goes around comes around.

Busch overdrove the corner in the spring and put Junior's car into the wall. Today, Junior overdrove a corner and did the same thing to the 18.

If you didn't spend so much time personalizing this stuff, you'd be aware of those two pieces of reality. Neither driver "punted" the other. The only difference between the 2 incidents is that in this case, nobody is screaming for a public flogging. Speaks to the differences between racefans and fanboys.

Well if it wasn't payback can we call it opportunity? And Junior isn't a liar. He is a man of his word. Do you think for one minute he would say he did that on purpose and get Hendrick and Nascar on his ass? You know he has to be careful about what he says.

Browneyes you tryig to cause controversey where there is none. Only in your own mind. Dale JR said on his show changing gears that he is not looking payback against any driver. He said it looks bad on you as a driver and team.
No he was not even thinking about your conspiracy during his interview. By the way the first half of the season is over with and Kyle Busch Finished 1st and Jr. 4th. Now 10 races for the championshn wil see who will win the championship.
Do everyone a favor and keep the chat about what is happening on the track. By the way Dale,Jr. is not Kyle's biggest rival is Carl Edwards. Dale,Jr. and Kyle Busch is Yesterdays news. WE are discussing todays news.

I doubt that was payback for a number of reasons: You could see the smoke from Jr's tires as he tried to keep out of Kyle, it was way too early in the race for such a move (too much time for him to come back at you), and this race didn't matter in the slightest.

Rusty Wallace thought it was intentional...

I was expecting Kyle Busch to slam into jr's car and then huff and puff about it after the race. It was just weird how it occurred, and the nonchalant aftermath.
