The craziness in Belgium lasted beyond the checkered flag.

Leave it to the FIA to ruin a thrilling race ending. I like Massa (and a huge fan of his mentor), but that ruling was BS. During the race, McLaren asked Whiting's opinion on the way Lewis complied. It's worse than NASCAR's debris cautions! Let them race!

Again it seems Hamilton has to take out his #1 rival. After Kimi's car stopped it looked like he had a flat rear tire. Did the previous incident with Hamilton cause the flat? thus putting Kimi in the wall. If so 25 seconds doesn't cut it - excuse the pun

Has Bill France's ghost returned to take over FIA? The results are as much "racing" as a NASCAR finish. Disgusting. F1 is losing it...

Can someone site the Reg. for me, or is the FIA just winging it here? Is there a precedent for this? And why 2 spots, is it because the 4th place car was more than 25 seconds back? What if Kimi had been able to re- pass, would there still be a penalty?

Hamilton cut a chicane (the pass/force is irrelevant) which gave him a "competitive advantage" down the straight. Just because he let Kimi by doesn't mean Kimi was back to speed, so for him to repass before the end of the straight is a clear violation.

Word now is McLaren is going to drop the appeal and focus on Monza.
It's to bad Spa one of the best races all year, was ruined with controversy.

The first two laps of that race and the last three laps were so thrilling, this was a fantastic race, one we will be remembering and talking about for years to come, regardless of who won.
