Drivers Lap-No Talking

I have been watching and replaying the coverage of practice at Spa. At about 12:45 remaining in the second session, Kovalainen's car ran an on board helmet level camera shot for about a minute twenty seconds. Nearly a full lap. What a great chance to bring great video and SOUNDS to F1 fans. Instead, we hear continuous run of the mouth fillers from all three Speed commentators, which completely drowned out the engine sounds and ruined the moment. Can't you guys just pick a minute or two each practice or qualifying session, bite your lip, and let the entire scene reveal itself to the fans. No talking. Call it the drivers lap. Let the scene speak for itself. Please, just for a minute or so each race, give us the complete experience, as close as you can, to being in the car. No commentary allowed because none is needed. Repeat, no commentary allowed because none is needed. Sometimes, less is more. Try it! Thanks.

I agree 100%. I just want to hear the cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I do is watch the Friday practice sessions online with no commentary at all.
As far as I'm concerned it's the best part of a GP weekend.
All cars sounds and no talking at all.

I thought Speed did a very good job on race day. There were several segments where the sound was left to run with no piling on by the trio. Especially at the end, with the Sounds of Speed. Thank you very much, guys. You have always been the best, but there is always room for improvement; even from the best. More of the same would be nice.

P.S. If you have a Coupe deVille hiding at the bottom of a Cracker Jack box, then consider it to be not improvable. Don't even try.
