BREAKING THROUGH AT LAST. ROTH STARTING 8TH. A GREAT WAY TO END A SEASON.

Exactly how he started the year, he started 8th at Homestead.

Is there something wrong with this thread. I went to the end, and nobody was talking about the race. Well, Helio won the thing in a very, very close finish. Dixon mistakenly pulled into victory lane. No fault of his, because they probably told him to go there. It was a very, very good race. And a very, very good crowd. And, a very, very beautiful day to hold a race.

I am posting here to tell you people that the race has ended. And, Helio Castroneves has won the race in a photo finish.

Man where is everyone?

Good win by Helio but the title goes to Dixon. I thought the racing was good and the crowd looked well for an Indycar race. It was odd to see Milka in first and Roth second for a couple of laps but it got back to the way it should be quickly thank goodness!

I'm really looking forward to the '09 season and I hope they get rid of the real rookies and start putting some real skilled drivers in the cars (Davidson, Summerton, Tracy, etc).

Excellent finish by A.J. Foyt Racing and Darren Manning. He finished 7th after starting 24th. Perera started 25th and kept himself clean and finished 15th.Everybody talks about Panthers 1 car team but Foyts team finished ahead of them. They also finished 14th in the standings out of 26-28 cars. Where last year they finished 13th out of 18-19 cars. They were not that far out of 8th in the standings.

So how much was Helio "Below the line" for Barnhard to bust him again? I didn't see it.

He had about half the car below the line all four laps, and I think his right side tires even touched it once. It was totally obvious, and looked quite intentional...

If the fast way around the track is to suck down on the white line, there is WAY too much down force ! If that is the way they will run for the race, then you can count on very little passing ,as drivers going to the high side will be stuck there. When the "marbles" build up, attempts may end up in crashes. Maybe THAT is why the interest is low.
