Every forum has its little cliques. That's OK, it just seems to be a fact of internet life. It's interesting to see how those groups react to "other folks", and it's also unfortunate but true that every forum seems to run its course for a while, die down, and eventually return. Some will stick around, some won't. Still lots of interesting stuff on this forum (and a also a lot that isn't). After all, not everyone likes the same thing.

Who's missing? Off the top of my head; camaroguy, catgirl, minivanhater (dever), whip2, mclola, livin_gangsta, and dozens of others.... Who else is missing that always had something to contribute?

May I just say - to see my name here with the posters missed makes me feel good. Speed was my VERY FIRST forum, ever. I got sucked in by NTC and NTD. Those two threads are my loves.

Why don't I post now - I'll come back now and then to NTC and NTD - I love those threads because I love figuring out those pretty or ugly or interesting cars/dashes. Those threads have added to my motorhead appreciation and understanding - no end!

At the same time, I've found that there are some folks on Spud (you know who you aren't!) that frustrate me no end. I've only been posting for a year now.... and they are oblivious to their impact on the greater community. I've tried clueing them in via PM - all I got was long diatribes about how they felt they were right. Okey-fine. Life is short... moving on.

Ultimately, I still love cars - still love learning about these little gems! Dang-Nab-It, I spend almost all my vacation time taking pictures of things with wheels. It's a desease! Still, it's hard to give up those two threads. I might boycott every once in a while... but crimini! A wonderful car from Tigerdrvr, Mr.dB, or Tomthebomb, McMike, Wildman, Bizzarinni, dear Porridgehead, Gurney, etc... uh, how can I resist?

I used to check this room several times a day. Now it's just once, and it's sad.

There has been a shortage of camaroguys, catgirls, minivanhaters, whip2s, mclolas, livin_gangstas, clutchmasters, jacngilles, and Schwaas. Who can remember more?

I have problems every time I try to log in. I've made post, hit submit, and been told I have to log in, even thou it shows me as logged in. This place is too much work. I hate this place, but I still enjoy the people, so I do check in on occasion.
Minivanhater got a lifetime ban from the entire internet. Seriously.

Edit: I posted this at 1:05PM on 9-08 before the next two post. It's really difficult to hold a discussion while having to jump all over the board to maintain order. I hate this place.

This board used to be the best on the SpeedTV forums. Now after the "downgrade" they really have fallen off. I need to find a new place Lol...
