MOTOGP: Vermeulen Stays at Suzuki; Spies to Honda?

Chris Vermeulen will remain with Suzuki in 2009, while Honda satellite teams JiR and Gresini are talking with Ben Spies.

Ben going to GP to take a second tier ride? Good luck Ben...but the GP clique,tracks and politics is gonna leave a sour taste in your mouth!

I think Vermeulen is in a good place, staying with Suzuki. Like ardec2 points out, the Kentucky Kid was screwed at Honda. As for falsenuetral's comment about GP clique, tracks, and pollitics, let's get real buddy, you get that everywhere.

I agree, take a look at how well Hayden has been treated by Honda, and he is on a 1st tier team/bike?

Why is Suzuki sticking with Capirossi? A Vermeulen / Spies combo would be amazing! Spies has no choice but to go to MotoGP, no matter the bike under him. Another year of AMA SBK or going to WSBK would ruin his learning curve. Kick butt, Ben!
