No. At this point I don't think Ford cares, and considering the state they're in, they couldn't make the investment to be competitive even if they wanted to.

Rules packages will prevent the Ford GT from winning overall but could win the GT2 class.

With all the development of the Ferrari and Porsche cars in GT2, the Ford GT has no chance to dominate.

Ford's not involved in the #### thing. This is entirely a privateer effort. The GT isn't even in production anymore. It was only intended as a collector's car.

And the car being raced is actually a slower version of the Ford GT called the "GT-R". The GT came with a supercharged 5.4L V8 and the GT-R has a naturally aspriated 5L V8. Neither LMGT class allows a forced induction engine over 4.5L.

No. Ford puts very little money and engineering into racing other than what they put into NASCAR to be competitive in sports cars.

they need to get the two that are running in the alms series, off the track.
that grey one has been nothing but a slow rolling hazard ever since sebring.
fomoco may not care to give them any help, but you'd think they'd care that they're an embarrassment to the brand.

and the falken gt40 isn't much better.
try running them in against the speedworld challenge cars, until you get em' figured out.
(or get another car where the manufacturer is happy to have you in their brand.)
