I have a '94 R-2 model with 26,xxx original miles. Kept in HVAC'd garage, never once been in the rain. I LOVE the car but hate to see all of them falling into the hands of kids who make them look "fast and furious". I hope a few remain well preserved.

What happened?! Above it shows that the 3rd generation RX7 would be highlighted, but instead, you showcase the RX8? I don't get it! Obviously, you considered the RX7 one of the true "101 cars you must drive", but something changed your mind.Mazda maybe?

I hope Speed didn't get "convinced" by Mazda to show the car they currently have for sale on the show, rather than an older model which happens to be the true sports car...even the host of the show felt that way!

Not only did they not show it but they lauded the RX-8 as the fastest greatest thing in the world. It wasn't a fraction the driver's car the 7 was. More reliable, comfortable, practical - maybe. Better - NO WAY.

I agree the RX-8 is a good car to a point but is nothing compared to the RX-7 (FC/FD models). What the RX-8 really lacks is power and without force induction the rotary motor doesn't seem to want to wake up. The triple rotary in the RX-8 is impressive but it has weeks point that it can't create or take huge HP and hates force induction - or should I say the Mazda CPU hates it.
