Oh, my... I wonder how it senses the motion, and converts it to G's?

It's all in the Gees
Dynolicious utilizes the accelerometer built in to your iPhone or iPod Touch to sense the motion of your vehicle. This data is sampled as many as one hundred times per second, developing a detailed picture of the car's acceleration. This information is then used to determine the speed of the vehicle and the distance travelled. Due to the unique hardware integrated into the iPhone, this can all be done with no setup, wires, or extra equipment!

Out of touch? just kidn'....there is sensors inside the iPhone, I guess similar to the Wii. I've got a game on mine called Labyrinth and it shows how sensitive the iPhone can be. http://labyrinth.codify.se/

very cool . . . and very fun - I downloaded this app just today and have been playing with it driving back roads in my 3 series. Tomorrow I'm gonna have to rig a mount for it on my other BMW, the two-wheeled variety and head out for more 'software evaluation'!! smile

I kept putting it off. Strangely, it wasn't my wife that persuaded me to do it - she actually said I didn't need one. It was my friends; they kept ragging me because they couldn't get hold of me. Heck, I ain't that hard to find...
