My source says Mladin will be DQ'd from both races... illegal crankshaft. You heard it here first!!

If so that will suck, and the last 3 races will be irrelevant.
I'm guessing that since they didn't take the parts from Spies' and Tommy Hayden's bike after the races they can't go back to Yoshimura and request them since there's no way to tell if they're getting the actual part used in the race.

It's my contention that this is purely retaliation for the comments Mladin made at both Infineon and at VIR. Anybody think Suzuki will be back racing with AMA/DMG next year?

That sounds about right - if so, DMG is being heavy-handed as they've shown they like to be in the past.

illegal is illegal. why speculate about that sort of thing when/if the crank is illegal? are you suggesting they'd lie about results?
