I had a conversation which seems to exhibit the start of the domino event which will kill nitro racing in this, once great, country. It appears that at this moment only NHRA top fuel teams can buy nitro with almost no regulation. That's temporary in the chicken little world of homeland security, those who have to create havoc type ideas to keep a job-or they're out of business. Surprise, surprise. Soon they will need tons of gubbment paperwork to do so. I see the IHRA folding, old time nostalgia meets disappearing and NHRA paying millions in permits, paperwork and then eventually being strangled, frustrated, chicken-littled out of existence.
Say good bye to the good times. We will not only be importing every simple item we need soon, we will also be importing every engineer as this clown group are putting up roadblocks at every turn for the inventive and curious kid. Those kids will never become engineers because they will never be turned on by something amazing. Remember the old chemistry sets which were used by the "go to the moon" generation? They're a hilarious joke now.
I see the end of drag racing as we know it unless someone does the research and the little people rag on their congresscritters to let them know this BS has to stop. Research is needed to present to the stuffed shirts and inundate them with bittching, we've had it , not gonna take it, educational and passionate complaints.
Do nothing and disappear quietly, make noise and survive.

Has it begun?
If what I think is going down, is going down......deja vu.
